was bedeutet start of a block ist das die reihen folge oder was

Also, Wenn du nach einer if Abfrage mehrere Aktionen machen willst, musst du Start und end of a block nehmen!
z.B.
if hspeed=5
set the hspeed to 0
set the vspeed to 0

das geht nicht!
Da musst du dann

if hspeed=5
start of a block
set the hspeed to 0
set the vspeed to 0
end of a block

Noch ein kleiner Tipp meinerseits - auch wenn das schon geklärt ist ;):

Falls es dir möglich ist, steig so bald wie möglich auf GML um, damit sparst du dir einiges an Übersichtsproblemen.
Zum Beispiel ist "Start of a block" in GML übersetzt nix weiter als "{"

(Zur Veranschaulichung fabses Aktionen als Code):

GML-Quellcode

if hspeed=5
{
hspeed=0
vspeed=0
}

Aber das ist für dich wohl noch irrelevant.... (Ist mein Beitrag dann Spam? oO)
