All these will work on not only sprites and backgrounds but surfaces as well. This means you can draw the scene to a surface and then post-process it in a shader, rather than using GML which again, speeds the whole thing up. We’ll also be allowing multi-texturing so you do things like proper depth of field, normal maps or proper single pass shadow maps and so on.
